In Malaysia, employment issues are primarily governed by the Employment Act 1955 [Act 265] being key piece of legislation on matter. Hence, it is imperative to analyze whether amendments brought Amendment positive improvements as compared current provisions well adequate according international labour standards stated International Labour Organization. 2022, (Amendment) 2022 (Amendment First Schedule) Order were passed which will bring changes employer-employee relationship in Malaysia.
